![]() ![]() One of my students came to me and said she wanted a chance to showcase her voice and songwriting skills but she was really bashful. It brings me great joy to know that I helped a singer find something in them that they never knew they had or could produce. I love training beginning students because seeing them grow and become confident in their voice is such a beautiful thing to me. Many of these singers want to become amazing performers however, they don’t quite have the proper tools and techniques to get them to that level. Working in Chicago, a major performing arts state, you meet a lot of young singers. I teach a broad range of students starting at age five and up. What I love about teaching singing lessons in Chicago is the flexibility, diversity, and the drive of my students. I can honestly saying working as a Vocal Coach has been one of the best jobs in my life. I also propose creative prompts and feedback for songwriters, and BONUS: if you're interested, you can track your improvement with me by recording a demo at my home studio with the help of my husband, a talented guitarist and producer-in-training. Our lessons will be crafted around your personal goals and may cover a range of topics, including: breathwork and vocal technique, understanding vocal registers, rhythm training, ear training, and more. Whether you're eager to improve an existing vocal practice, or a complete beginner just longing to sing for fun, I'm the sort of teacher that will spend extra time between our lessons thinking of ways to understand and improve your unique voice. My primary goal is to create a safe and playful learning environment where you'll feel free to test the limits of your sound without fear or self-consciousness. ![]() I’m particularly sensitive to students struggling to gain confidence in themselves. I’d love to help you explore yours in a judgment-free space. The voice is a fascinating instrument with underrated healing potential. ![]()
